Andreas Gorke

Andreas Görke is a Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on early Islamic history and historiography, the life of the Prophet Muhammad, Qur'anic studies and exegesis, hadith, Islamic law, Arabic manuscript transmission, and Islam in its late antique and modern contexts.
