Amy-Jane Beer
Amy-Jane Beer is a British biologist turned naturalist, writer, and campaigner who has worked for over 20 years as a science writer and editor. She is a Country Diarist for The Guardian and a columnist for British Wildlife, known for her nature writing that explores personal and spiritual experiences to illuminate science for wider audiences. Her 2022 book The Flow: Rivers, Water and Wildness won the Wainwright Prize for Nature Writing in 2023.
