The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is a private non-profit educational corporation founded in 1981, originally named the Collegiate Volleyball Coaches Association, and headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. It serves over 9,000 members dedicated to advancing the growth, visibility, and future of volleyball through coaching education and awards.
