Amanda Hocking

Amanda Hocking is an American writer of paranormal romance young adult fiction who became a self-publishing phenomenon after traditional publishers rejected her work in 2010. She began self-publishing her novels as e-books on Kindle in April 2010, and by March 2011 had sold over a million copies and earned approximately two million dollars, achieving unprecedented success for a self-published author. She has published over thirty works across seven different series, including the New York Times bestselling Trylle Saga.
