Amadou Hampate Ba

Amadou Hampâté Bâ (1900/1901–1991) was a Malian writer, historian, and ethnologist known for his influential role in twentieth-century African literature and for preserving West African oral traditions. He is especially remembered as a defender and collector of Fulani and broader African cultural heritage.
