Alvin A. Arens
Dr. Alvin A. Arens was the PricewaterhouseCoopers Professor of Accounting at Michigan State University for over 30 years, where he taught for 38 years after earning a B.B.A. from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D.[1][2][3] He co-founded Armond Dalton Publishers and authored or co-authored over 30 books, including the leading auditing textbook Auditing: An Integrated Approach, now in its 14th edition.[1][4] Arens passed away on December 6, 2010, at age 75.[2][3]
