Alvan F. 1866-1966 Sanborn

Alvan Francis Sanborn (1866–1966) was an American journalist and author known as a French conservative. While living abroad, he focused much of his writing on aspects of French life and contributed to publications including The Atlantic Monthly, the New York Times, the Boston Traveller, and the Boston Transcript for over 35 years. He authored and edited numerous books and articles, such as Paris and the Social Revolution and Moody's Lodging House.
