Althea C Jones

Althea Jones is a multidisciplinary artist based in Northeast Ohio, known for her work in painting, photography, and performance art that centers on self-reflection, community building, race, and identity. Her 'Skin Color' project combats implicit bias and promotes diversity awareness, now featured in national educational textbooks like 'La Gente: Themes in Latino Studies' and 'Mosaic: Themes in Asian American Studies'. She holds a BA in justice studies from Kent State University and is pursuing a BFA at the University of Akron.[5][6]
