Allison McCracken

Allison McCracken is an American cultural historian and media scholar, known for her work on the history of popular music, media, and gender, particularly her book 'Real Time Machine: Crooning in the Rock Era'. She is a professor at DePaul University and has written extensively on television, reality TV, and queer studies.
