Allen Grossman

Allen Grossman (1932–2014) was a celebrated American poet, critic, and professor known for his high-style lyric poetry rooted in the modern Romantic tradition. He taught for many years at Brandeis University and Johns Hopkins University, earning numerous accolades including a Guggenheim Fellowship and a MacArthur Fellowship.
