Alice Meynell

Alice Meynell (1847–1922) was a British poet, essayist, critic, editor, and suffragist, best known for her lyrical poetry and literary essays. She also helped edit Catholic periodicals and wrote on women’s rights and aesthetic subjects, earning recognition as an important late-Victorian literary figure.
