Alfred Jeremias

Alfred Karl Gabriel Jeremias was a German pastor, Assyriologist, and scholar of the religions of the ancient Near East. He was also a prominent advocate of Panbabylonism, a theory that interpreted the Hebrew Bible through Babylonian mythology.
