Alfred Fournier

Jean Alfred Fournier (1832–1914) was a French dermatologist and venereologist known for his influential work on syphilis and its cutaneous manifestations. He helped establish venereology as an integral part of dermatology and became a leading authority on syphilitic disease through his clinical studies and publications.
