Alexandra Effe

Alexandra Effe is a literary critic and postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Centre for Literature, Cognition and Emotions. Her research focuses on how writing and reading affect people cognitively and emotionally, and she is the author of *J.M. Coetzee and the Ethics of Narrative Transgression* (2017) and *A History of Autofiction* (2025).
