Alexander A. Fisher

Alexander A. Fisher is a scholar of early music and music history who serves as Area Coordinator for Early Music at the UBC School of Music. Appointed to the UBC faculty in 2002, his research focuses on German music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, sacred music in early modern ritual contexts, sound studies, and music, soundscape, and religious identity in the Reformation and Counter-Reformation.
