Alex Garland

Alex Garland is an English author, screenwriter, and director born in London in 1970. He first became known for his novel The Beach before writing acclaimed screenplays such as 28 Days Later, Sunshine, and Never Let Me Go, and later directing films including Ex Machina and Annihilation.
