Alex Flinn
Alex Flinn is an American young adult novelist born in Glen Cove, New York, known for her edgy, realistic fiction addressing topics like dating violence, school violence, and bullying. She holds a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Miami and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Law School, and practiced law before publishing her debut novel Breathing Underwater in 2001. Her works, including Beastly, Breaking Point, and A Kiss in Time, have won numerous state and national awards, with Beastly adapted into a feature film.
