Alex Berenson
Alex Berenson, born in 1973, is an American author and former New York Times reporter who graduated from Yale University in 1994 with degrees in history and economics. He covered major events including Hurricane Katrina and served as a correspondent in Iraq, inspiring his debut novel The Faithful Spy, which won the 2007 Edgar Award for Best First Novel. Berenson has written twelve John Wells spy thrillers and nonfiction books like Tell Your Children on marijuana and mental illness, and lives in the Hudson Valley with his family.
