Alex Aster

Alex Aster is a #1 New York Times bestselling author known for the Lightlark series, which has been sold in over 30 territories and secured a major movie deal with Universal, as well as the Emblem Island children's series.[1][2] Born August 4, 1995, in the United States to Colombian heritage, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in creative writing and lives in New York.[1][3][4] She began writing stories at age 13 and querying agents at 14, overcoming numerous rejections to become a full-time award-winning author.[2]
