Aldo Rossi
Aldo Rossi (1931-1997) was an Italian architect, theorist, designer, and author renowned for his contributions to postmodern architecture and neorationalism, particularly through his seminal book 'The Architecture of the City' (1966). He advocated for limited building types and contextual awareness, blending rational modernism with archetypal forms. Rossi was the first Italian to win the Pritzker Prize in 1990 and also gained acclaim for his drawings, paintings, and product designs.
