Alberto Apostolico

Alberto Apostolico (1948–2015) was an Italian computer scientist and professor known for his work in algorithmic design and applications. He held faculty positions at several universities, including Purdue University and Georgia Tech, where he worked on combinatorial pattern matching, data mining, bioinformatics, and parallel computation.[1][2]
