Alan LeMay

Alan Brown Le May was an American novelist and screenwriter best known for the Western novels _The Searchers_ and _The Unforgiven_, both of which inspired major film adaptations. He began as a journalist and went on to write numerous novels, short stories, and screenplays throughout his career.
