Alan Jenkins Jenkins

Alan Jenkins is a British poet born in 1955 in Surrey, England, educated at the University of Sussex, and based in London. Since 1981, he has worked at the Times Literary Supplement as poetry and fiction editor and later deputy editor, while also serving as a poetry critic for The Observer and the Sunday Independent. His acclaimed poetry collections, starting with his debut in 1988, have earned awards including the Forward Poetry Prize, Cholmondeley Award, and a T.S. Eliot Prize shortlisting.
