Alan DeNiro

Alan DeNiro is an American author born in Erie, Pennsylvania, known for his short story collection 'Skinny Dipping in the Lake of the Dead,' which was longlisted for the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award and a finalist for the Crawford Award. He holds an MFA in poetry writing from the University of Virginia and has published short fiction in journals such as One Story, Strange Horizons, and Interfictions 2. DeNiro currently resides outside St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, a dog, and three cats.
