Alafair Burke

Alafair Burke is a New York Times bestselling American author of crime fiction and suspense, as well as a law professor and former prosecutor. She has written numerous standalone novels and series featuring characters like Samantha Kincaid and Ellie Hatcher, and co-authored the Under Suspicion series with Mary Higgins Clark. Burke served as the first woman of color to hold the presidency of the Mystery Writers of America.
