Akiko Tsuchiya

Akiko Tsuchiya is a former Professor of Spanish at Washington University in St. Louis whose research examines the intersections of gender, race, and colonialism in nineteenth-century Hispanic literature and culture. She is a scholar and editor who has contributed to interdisciplinary studies on topics including the cultural legacies of slavery in Spain and transnational connections in the Hispanic world.
