Adele Berlin

Adele Berlin is an American biblical scholar and Hebraist who served as Robert H. Smith Professor of Biblical Studies at the University of Maryland before retiring. She is known for influential work on Hebrew Bible literary criticism and biblical narrative, including *Poetics and Interpretation in Biblical Narrative* and *The Jewish Study Bible*.
