Ace Atkins
Ace Atkins (born William Ellis Atkins) is an American novelist and journalist best known for his crime fiction and mystery novels set in the southern United States, particularly the Quinn Colson series and his continuation of Robert B. Parker's Spenser series[1][2]. Born in Troy, Alabama, he was a college football player at Auburn University before becoming a crime reporter for the Tampa Tribune, where he received a Pulitzer Prize nomination[2][7]. He committed to being a full-time novelist by age 30 and has published over 30 bestselling books[2][5].
