A. W. Brian Simpson
A. W. Brian Simpson (1931–2011) was a distinguished British legal historian and legal philosopher, best known for his work on the common law and legal theory. He served as the Charles F. and Edith J. Clyne Professor of Law at the University of Michigan Law School until his retirement and was a lay magistrate in England for many years.
