A. L. Wegwerth

A.L. Wegwerth is a children's author from Minnesota, known as the 'State of Hockey,' and a pioneer in women's hockey who played at high school and college levels before an injury ended her playing career.[1][4] She now coaches youth hockey or plays shinny with her three kids, and is described as hockey-loving and dinosaur-obsessed with a talent for recalling childhood songs and rhymes.[1][3] Her works include 'I'm Going to Be a Hockey Star' and 'Little Bo Peep and Her Bad, Bad Sheep.'[1][2]
