This book is about freedom of mind and even more about that what threatens it.. Have you ever thought what makes you think or feel something? What is the reason for your attitude towards certain issue? Are your decisions free?Do you live in a free society?. The book examines the new methods of impacting human consciousness and behavior, as well as society. Today, the elites and oligarchies have gained too much power, which includes the ability to program the individual and to conduct social control also through online environment. It is about modifying individual attitudes, thoughts, desires, values and emotions, as well as controlling social processes. Such impacts are a mere fact, as a part of the oligarchies' strategies to undermine democracy and create a controlled society. Due to the massiveness and intensity of these impacts, we dare say that a war against ordinary people is being waged by the elites and oligarchies.. This war has not been fought since yesterday. But today, informational techniques are being added to the political, economic and coercion, known from the past.. This is possible through the global databases containing personal information about each of us (so called "Big Data") and the computer programs and algorithms that handle this information and profile us. The individual has not been anonymous on the Internet for a long time, and complete information about his personality and life is available to IT monopolists. They use this data for profiling and personalized manipulation and suggestion. This manipulation places the human consciousness in a restrictive and degrading framework of existence, make it weak, inhibited, fragmented and susceptible to suggestions. Thus the consciousness of the majority remains at the lower levels of Maslow's Pyramid (The Pyramid of Needs) . People are trained to think, feel and act according standardized psychological and behavioral models that serve the purposes of controlled society. And that means slavery.. Today, these psychological impacts take place on all information channels. They take the form of personalized ads and recommendations, Internet search results, sorting and filtering information, spam, fake news, psychological techniques in communication, chats, Internet forums, and so on ... . For now, and probably in the future, there is no authority to protect people from such insidious psychological attacks. But the facts and the methods used against people can still be publically exposed. Thus social and psychological immunity to be developed.. This book is divided into three parts.. The first part provides an overview of the various aspects of the current social order and examines the question of how the values and imperatives of the system, as well as the methods of social control, are implemented.. The second part of the book is the main part. It is devoted to the techniques of psychological programming that make people useful and obedient to the system. This part focuses on what is happening in the mind of the individual. First, the reader is introduced to the basic psychological concepts, knowledge of which is necessary to understand the techniques of impact described below. The part also examines their usage in the real and online environment.. The third and final part is a summary of the philosophical, social and psychological issues raised by the current order. It presents a critical view at the direction in which the world is heading today, as well as a hopeful look at another possible direction, both human and social.. The book is written in a relatively accessible language and it is intended for a wide range of readers.
