It is very hard to wait LONG for something that is expected, especially when it is natural for it to be given. Like a baby after making love. Like a savoring meal after cooking on the stove. Like a wetness after rain. Like cold in the winter. It is only normal to expect to be hot when you walk out the door in the summer. So to experience 90-degree weather in the winter would seem rather odd (unless you live in New York) .As far as I am concerned, our weather in New York has a mental problem. Anyway, what is not expected could deter your plans because what is happening doesn't seem to rhyme with what you are expecting, and what you have been preparing for. When things don't go as planned, that's when you have no choice than to wait on God. I have had the painful privilege of watching others go before me (Career, Accolades, Certificates, Marriage, Babies, Wealth, Stability, etc.) . It didn't use to bother me at first because I am rather a pretty consumed person, in the goals I obtain for myself. So I shifted my attention to other pursuits, but a time came when I yearned and ached badly for what I felt was due to me. That's when I knew the pangs of waiting. The anger. The resentment. The Fidgeting. The uncertainty, and even the bitterness sometimes towards God.In waiting on God for so many things, I have learned so much. He has given me so much, but he has postponed a lot, however, I am no longer upset. I am content. There is a secret to it, and it's in this book. The pages in this book is about women who have waited on God, and who share their secrets on how they endured. This book will encourage you to hold on to God's unchanging hand.
