This is a book about the Bible but not a religious book. Taking the CSI approach to the biblical saga creates a new slant to Bible study. If you study the Bible as I have, from a critical investigative angle, it can be fasinating. I've written this book comparing the Bible stories to science and reality. I found the Bible is full of more who done it, what with and where than any mystery novel ever. The religions that have strung around this book are just as full of intrigue. The circuitous route these writings have taken getting to us is absolutely enthralling. I have taken a look at the biblical facts, as recorded by Gods secrataries and found new avenues that need to be explored. Also I've investagated just who wrote this collection of biblical tales and is what we're hearing from the pulpits, that which was actually written? I have found archaeology, geology, and modern scholars are presenting us with different pictures of the Old and New Testament times, which is generating an entirely different pictures of Bibical history. As I endeavored to show, many of their findings are not consistent with the stories as recorded in the scrolls and are showing us a different God than we have been led to see by a literal reading of the Bible. I've written this book in a format that the average Christian Bible study group member can absorb and discuss.. Some of the questions I've considered are: Just how long is a Creation time period, where did all the water come from, who is this Abram and Sari couple, who is J,E,P,D, or R, or even Q,L,and M, just where was Jesus born, just what did St. Paul actually write, what was Jesus twin brothers name, when did the "Mother of all battles " occure, just what is the Ripe Apple Hypothesis, should the Bible be read as a literal work or is it allegorical, is it a book of moral stories or a history? I've endeavored to show that the Bible is not wrong or even inncorect. It's just incomplete and is being interpreted incorrectly. The few stories started out as many telling a different tale.
