Our story begins in northern Minnesota during the fall of 1979, when one small accident would change the entire trajectory of our family. This change would teach us the true meaning of love, faith, and undeniable strength. Adhesive arachnoiditis, meningitis, and brain damage. These are words a family never wants to hear, especially in regard to their loved ones. But these words crossed the lips of numerous physicians and neurosurgeons over the last 40-plus years as we have discussed the prognosis of our dad/husband. Everyone has a story. This just happens to be ours.
