Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods: Model Regulations

This two-volume set gives recommendations to governments and international organizations concerned with regulating the transport of dangerous goods. Volume I contains introductory material on principles underlying the regulation of the transport of dangerous goods, then provides recommendations on training, security, and classification, and lists dangerous goods and limited quantities exceptions. Appendices to Volume I list generic and N.O.S. proper shipping names and define key terms. Volume II provides recommendations on packing and tank provisions, consignment procedures, construction and testing of packaging and containers, and transport operations. Much of the information is in the form of tables and charts. This 14th edition contains new and revised provisions and information on alignment of various classification criteria.
