Export Diversification and Economic Growth: The Experience of Selected Least Developed Countries (Development Papers)

This report examines the export diversification experience of three Asian least-developed countries (LDCs) (Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Nepal) and provides statistical tests of the linkages between export diversification and economic development. Drawing on the successful export diversification experiences of Malaysia, the report provides policy suggestions for LDCs to enhance their export performance. There is no subject index.
