Berlin Architects Portraits

Making no claim to objectivity or exhaustive inclusiveness, Udo Hesse presents photographic portraits of 66 architects who have played a major role in shaping the new face of Berlin. Some of the people behind the buildings include Norman Foster, Zaha M. Hadid, Helmut Jahn, Daniel Liebeskind, Dominique Perrault, and Renzo Piano. Hesse's penetrating photographs are supplemented by the architects' own insights into their unique approaches and working methods.
