Churo dreads pairing day, a day where any seventeen year old who hasn't been paired with a mate is take away to find his or her mate. He, sadly, doesn't find the girls in is village attractive, but when he falls in love with this girl in the woods, things change. When pairing day comes around, a boy, who wants the girl, fights Churo just to get to her. That is, until, Churo escapes with the girl. Just when they feel like they're safe, enemies come lurking. Sacrifices are made... People get hurt... Love is on the line...
