Oblivious Me: A journey to self-love and acceptance

How do we get off track in life and how open are we to the signs that things are not as they should be? Does it take illness or even cancer for us to re-evaluate? Does it take broken relationships or family issues to shake us up? Are we oblivious to what we are being shown, continually ignoring the signs that are right in front of our eyes? What does it take for us to truly open our eyes to our greatest potential, wiping away all the hurt that we carry throughout our lives? For some of us, it is an easy process. For others, like me, it takes time ... a lot of time. Oblivious Me is a memoir of my journey through childhood, multiple broken relationships, heartache, cancer and 10 years beyond. How I took on the process of self-discovery by recognising and releasing old beliefs, patterns and lack of self-love that were making me ill, and unable to live the life I truly desired. In this memoir, I questioned how much of what I was experiencing I had created myself. Some of it? All of it? I asked myself whether I was just unfortunate in being diagnosed with cancer, or was it a sign I was on the wrong path? Why was I attracting the same type of men into my life, and why were they all leaving? By embarking on a journey of self-discovery I was able to identify and release all that was holding me back. We are all destined to feel joy and happiness in all areas of our lives, could simply revisiting our past and taking a closer look at ourselves be the answer?
