Turn of the Tide

In this part three in the Backstretch series, Candy is dealing with the after effects of an abusive relationship, fear that keeps her from enjoying life. Demetri had threatened to find her if she ever ran away. How can she enjoy life while on the run? She tries a small town in Canada, and as hard as she tries not to fall in love with the town and its people, she does, and they fall for her. One man, in particular, does everything in his power to help her, but it turns out to be the biggest mistake of his life, and Candy's. That mistake puts her back into the hands of Demetri, and in a situation that could be her last.
