Prodigies of the Gods... There was a time when people built great civilizations. They believed in multiple gods. Now that time has died off from the face of the earth, and it has become known as the myths of the Greek, Rome, Egypt, and Norse or Viking age. The myths were written down in books for mortals to read. But what people didn't realize was that those gods were real, so in the year 2033, the gods realized it was time for a change, so some of them had mixed children with each other. (They evolved from their normal demigod children because they were different from the gods who used to have kids with humans, but this time, they had kids with gods from around the world.) Soon they lost the ability to keep their kids, because the gods feared they might start becoming humans, and that's a bad thing when you are an immortal god. The gods who had kids had abandoned them, though they tried to show love in their own magical way from their domain. The gods placed two of each of their kids in separate countries, like for instance, Paris, London, Greece, Egypt, United States, and Rome. In the different places from around the world, the gods put their own kids in the foster system to be raised by other families, whoever they might be. But one day, these abnormal prodigies of the gods would have to learn to survive on their own, but in the process, find one another, because they would realize that together, they were at their strongest, or if they didn't find one another quickly, they would die young or would have to endure being hunted every day while being chased by monsters, for those children were powerful.
