When soldiers come for Ao, he fights back. In a cruel twist, the enemy spares him and abduct his father instead. Now, Ao must venture into the wastelands to rescue him before he is gone for good. Luckily, surviving is Ao's second nature, but it isn't enough. If he is to succeed on his suicide mission, he will have to confront the horrors lurking outside his idyllic home - human and inhuman alike.
