Talking points with the Mult-e-Maths Toolbox contains suggestions for activities to encourage thought experiments in mathematics lessons. Many of the activities are new but some are similar to those in the original book of Talking points, updated here to capitalise on the availability of ICT in primary classrooms. The activities focus on: * communication and the use of mathematical vocabulary; * mental calculation; * visualisation and the use of imagery; * reasoning and problem solving.
