Great Like John B: Bold as a lion

I have been trying all my best. I have been through numerous battles and thought winning these battles could make my life fulfilled. I have worked very hard, received quite a number of awards, and have been given the accolades I always desired. Despite all these praises something else was still missing. It seemed like this was not the life I wanted. I wanted to be complete and live a meaningful life. I wanted to be like those men I looked up to and to satisfy these wants, I searched at some places and from great people who I respected. I have listened to their words and wanted to imitate what they do and how they do it. In spite of this, God said that I've got my own life and journey so I've got to be myself. I didn't have to be like them. Then he made me to realize that this "me" is a part of God's wonders, an amazing art. And He has attributed greatness inside this person that has got to come out. -The author
