Crossed Stars: in Varren

During a school project, two Scottish teenagers stumble across a personal diary with an account of the plight of a group of outsiders in Civil War Britain and find a connection with the leader, Christina. "There is something in my very DNA that empathised with Christina". Soon, the girls find that their destiny is intertwined with Christina and their future is not on Earth. They flee to Varren on another world. Their resolve and kinship are tested to the limit in a fight for survival, not only for them, but for this sector of the galaxy. They are helped by wonderful reptilian creatures from the exotic desert world of Hazer and they develop an everlasting friendship with them.
