Many of his photographs depict intimate moments with family and friends, among them Joni Mitchell, Stephen Stills, and Neil Young. Nash's playful and observant eye would lead him to capture quiet moments backstage, landscapes, still lifes, and street photography, and also create poignant paintings and collages.
