Handy book!

I have been using Lonely Planet to get to know Latin America for many years. The information about hotels/hostels and restaurants is very handy. If I am not happy with what I find, a good night's sleep and a decent breakfast give me the energy to explore other possibilities. I wish that the handicapped/elderly were kept in mind in more travel books. Is the hotel handicapped-friendly, can a wheel chair navigate the sidewalks in Town X, and so forth. Read more
