Overcoming The Giants

Giants come in various shapes and sizes. Giants can be physical, spiritual, or imaginary. Every person faces their own unique giants in life. Some giants block you for a season. Other giants may antagonize you for a lifetime. It could be a financial issue, a relational issue, or a false belief about you. The point is giants limit what you can do. They cause anxiety that can lead to outright fear and even to disobedience toward God. The solution to overcoming your giant is not in denying your giant. Your giant is a real problem. Even if your giant only exists in your thinking, the effects it has one you can become so debilitating that the giant might as well be physically standing right in front of you. Ultimately the solution to overcoming your giant is by accessing someone greater than your giant - God Himself. Giants may be too big for you to face alone, but no giant is bigger than God. God is willing to give you the Faith, the Armor, and the Power to defeat them. The key is that you must stop listening to your giant and to negative voices and start listening to what God thinks about you and your situation.
