This book presents a continuation of ideas introduced in my first book "Where There's Dark ... " There, I suggested alternative explanations for observations that have been used to support the theory that the entire universe can be traced back to a single point in space and time. In this second book, I further develop ideas based on the existence of a form of energy at every point in the universe. This energy corresponds to the "aether" that, prior to the turn of the twentieth century, was considered necessary for the propagation of light. It also corresponds to the "dark energy" recognised by cosmological models. Aether behaves like a fluid with a dynamic density and it has properties that affect everything from the smallest sub-atomic particles to the entire universe. The book concludes that everything can be described in terms of a single dynamic entity and a number of fundamental constants.
