Rejection is part of every writer's life. It never gets easier but unless you find out WHY your work wasn't taken by a magazine, or didn't get shortlisted in a magazine, it's hard to know what to do about it. This book goes through many of the common mistakes that writers make when writing fiction, whether that be weak characters or an over complicated plot. The book also ex-plains how it might not always be your fault. Even judges are human which means that mistakes can be made. Te next time you get rejected, read this book and see if you can figure out why. If you can do that, you can work on any weaknesses, ready for next time. If you can't see why it was rejected, this book will explain why that could be good news. The author has been writing and selling stories since 2001 and has sold hundreds of stories, many of which were rejected by at least one market before finding success. Linda also runs workshops and courses, and worked as a tutor for The Writers Bureau for a time.
